Care with the love of family.

Elaine’s House carries our mother’s name and our parents’ example. We give adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the same patient, joyful, dignified support we gave Mom and Dad.

Why we’re called Elaine’s House

A name we carry with love, and a promise we keep.

For years, our family cared for our parents, Raymond and Elaine Young, at home. We learned what real care looks like: patience on the hard days, laughter on the good ones, and never letting anyone feel like a burden.

When we lost them, we chose to keep that love working. Elaine’s House is our mother’s name on the door and our father’s steadiness in every visit.

“We care for every person we support the way we cared for Mom and Dad.”

What we stand for

Support. Belonging. Opportunity. Brighter tomorrows.

Four words from our very first flyer, and the way we still measure every day.

Dignity

Every person is treated the way we treated Mom and Dad: with respect, patience, and love.

Belonging

Real lives in real communities, with friends, neighbors, and a place at the table.

Opportunity

Support that builds skills and opens doors, guided by each person’s own goals.

Brighter Tomorrows

We celebrate progress, big and small, and keep our eyes on what’s possible.
